After weeks of speculation, the PSL have finally announced that Durban will play host to the 2015 Telkom Knockout final, with the game set to be played at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Ever since Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns were confirmed as the two finalists for this year’s TKO, fans have been wondering where in South Africa the game would be played, but confirmation has now been given.
Speaking at the PSL Headquarters in Parktown today, the PSL confirmed that Moses Mabhida, which was built for the 2010 World Cup, will play host as the Amakhosi and Masandawana lock horns next month.
The game will take place on December 16, with both Steve Komphela and Pitso Mosimane looking to land their first piece of silverware this season. Mamelodi Sundowns will be regarded as the home team, allowing them to choose their colours, training times and dressing room.
Chiefs have scored five goals on the way to the final, conceding just once, while Sundowns have scored 11 and conceded two.
